This contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the disobedience and non-compliance of the order of this Court dated 06.07.2022 in W.P.No.7918 of 2022.

2.It is noticed that the order of this Court dated 06.07.2022 in W.P.No.7918 of 2022 has been complied with by the respondent by issuance of show cause notice under Section 205 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994. However, the order has been passed by the respondent under Section 204 of the Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 on 04.09.2023 bearing reference br/K/f/vz;:1390/2021/C5.
