Respondents Prayers: The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus or any other writ or direction in the nature of writ directing the 1st and 2nd respondent to execute the laying of dedicated water connection and sewage connection for 'Commander's Court' No.49, Ethiraj Salai, Egmore, Chennai-600 008 within a reasonable time to be fixed.

The petitioner has come up with present writ petition for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to execute the laying of dedicated water connection and sewage connection for "Commander Court No.49, Ethiraj https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Salai, Egmore, Chennai-600 008".

2 Heard Mr.B.Arvind Srevatsa, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mr.N.Ramesh, learned standing counsel for CMWSSB and Mr. Jayesh B.Dolia, learned counsel for the third respondent.

3 The learned standing counsel for the official respondents submitted that the necessary payments has already been made by the petitioner's association and the work is under progress.

4 The learned counsel for the Respondent further submitted that they have to obtain permission for laying of road from the Corporation and thereafter, establish separate dedicated waterline, which will take considerable time. 5 In the light of the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition and the submissions of the learned standing counsel for the respondent, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to complete/execute the laying of dedicated water connection within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
