Mr.C.Jayaprakash, Government Advocate Order This writ petition has been filed to direct the fifth respondent to include the petitioner's name in joint patta Nos.741 & 742 issued by the third respondent for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition.
2.According to the petitioner, a joint patta was issued earlier for the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, which included the name of the petitioner. According to the petitioner, his name was deleted from the joint patta mistakenly. Hence, he seeks for re-inclusion of his name in the joint patta i.e. joint patta Nos.741 and 742 for the subject property. The petitioner had submitted an application on 25.08.2025 with the respondents, which is also followed by a representation dated 18.02.2026 seeking for inclusion of his name in joint patta Nos.741 and 742. Since the application as well as the representation were not considered, this writ petition has been filed.
3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4.The petitioner has filed supporting documents along with this writ petition in support of his request for inclusion of his name in joint patta Nos.741 and 742. This court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the same. 5.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's application dated 25.08.2025 and representation dated 18.02.2026 are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this court.
6.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.
7.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the fifth respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's application dated 25.08.2025 and his representation dated 18.02.2026 seeking for inclusion of his name in joint patta Nos.741 and 742 in respect of the property, morefully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner and after hearing all the necessary parties, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
