ORDER
With the consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to take action based on the petitioner's representation, dated 03.03.2025, within a time limit fixed by this Court.
3. The case of the petitioner is that on 01.07.2011, the petitioner purchased a vacant land house site measuring 2318 square feet in Annai Nagar, Ambattur Taluk, Tiruvallur District, through a Sale Deed dated 01.07.2011. He 2/6
constructed a house on the property and has been residing there with his family for the past three years, regularly paying property taxes and other taxes.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that an electric streetlight pole was erected in front of the petitioner's house, obstructing the pathway and making it difficult for him to move his car in and out which has caused significant inconvenience in his daily life. Despite submitting a written representation on 03.03.2025 to the 3 rd respondent requesting the removal or relocation of the electric streetlight pole, no action has been taken. Hence, the present writ petition is filed.
5. Learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents submits that the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2025 would be considered on merits, in accordance with law, within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

Without going into the merits of the case, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 03.03.2025 on merits, in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that in the event of shifting the electric streetlight pole, the expenses shall be borne only by the respondents Corporation and not by the petitioner, and no shifting fees should be charged from the petitioner. In the result, the writ petition stands disposed of with the above observations and direction. No costs.
