PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from in any manner interfering with the affairs of the petitioner's AAA, Sports and Social Welfare Club, Namakkal as SI.No. SRG/Namakkal/122/2024 situated at Chettiar Plot No.95, Keerambur, Namakkal Taluk, Namakkal District 637 207 or its members including the facilities provided for playing various games including the game of playing rummy not involving any element of gambling. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for forbearing the respondents in interfering activities of the club called AAA, Sports and Social Welfare Club, Namakkal, situated at Chettiar Plot No.95, Keerambur, Namakkal Taluk, Namakkal District 637 207.

2. On instructions, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent police submits that the very same person is running a club in the name of Siva Dhanusu for the offence committed by

him for which already 3 FIRs have been registered under the Gambling Act. Again, the petitioner changed the name of the club to Ranjith Chakravarthy against which two FIRs have been registered under Gambling Act and a cash of Rs.3,83,000/- was received. Now, recently on 27.03.2025, the petitioner changed the name of the club to AAA, Sports and Social Welfare Club, Namakkal and filed the same.

3. Since the petitioner is already facing charges before the third respondent, the direction sought by the petitioner cannot be granted. 4.
