ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to change the classification of the land more fully disclosed in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition from "Odai" to "agricultural land". 2.

The petitioner had submitted a representation to the respondents on 26.02.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court. 3.

Mr.S.Arumugam, learned Government Advocate, accepts notice on behalf of respondents.

No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2026 stated supra, is considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the

petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2026.

6. For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's representation dated 26.02.2026, seeking for change of classification of the land from "Odai" to "agricultural land" more fully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after giving consideration to the supporting documents produced by the petitioner, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
