ORDER
The present criminal revision petition is filed challenging the orders in Crl.M.P.No.683/2023 dated 13.03.2023 on the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Valangaiman, which was filed seeking return of property, namely Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire Car bearing Reg.No.TN-07-CH-4866.
2.When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent contended that the property, namely, Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire bearing Reg.No.TN-07-CH4866 pursuant to the confiscation proceedings initiated by the first respondent police was sold out in public auction in favour of one Haridoss, son of Subba Reddy residing at Door No.2/21, Ganga Nagar, Maduravayol, Chennai was the successful bidder of the property. 3.A bare perusal of the records shows that the very same petitioner herein filed Crl.R.C.No.1250/2022 before this Court against
the orders passed by the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Valangaiman in Crl.M.P.No.320/2022 seeking return of the property. The said petition was dismissed by this Court on 01.09.2022 since the confiscation proceedings were already initiated. Subsequently, the present revision petitioner also filed Crl.M.P.No.683/2022 before the same Court seeking release of the vehicle and it was also dismissed by the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Valangaiman vide her orders dated 13.03.2023. Challenging the said order dated 13.03.2023, this criminal revision petition has been filed. 4.In the circumstances, criminal revision petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
