Thangaraj ...Respondents Prayer: The writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to provide electricity service connection to the power loom godown of the petitioner constructed in S.F.No.764/5B of Samalapuram Village, Palladam Taluk, Tirupur District, upon considering the representation made by the Petitioner dated 26.12.2016.

O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition, seeking a direction to the second respondent to provide electricity connection to the power loom godown. 2.There appears to be a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 6. The fourth respondent has also filed a Civil suit in O.S.No.83 of 2016 on the file of the District Munsif Court, Palladam. This suit is filed for declaration, mandatory injunction and for recovery of possession. Pending suit, an I.A. has been filed in I.A.No.246 of 2016, restraining the Electricity Board from giving electricity service connection. It has been informed that the matter has been posted for enquiry on 20.04.2017.

3.In view of the above, this court is not inclined to pass any order in this writ petition. Suffice it is to direct the District Munsif Court, Palladam to dispose of the I.A.No.246 of 2016 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to state that the parties are expected to cooperate for disposal of the said application. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
