By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2.The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's reply dated 16.02.2026 submitted pursuant to the order dated 09.02.2026 in W.P.No.3633 of 2026 and consequently reject the representation dated 22.10.2025 submitted by the fourth respondent seeking cancellation of the No Objection Certificate issued to the petitioner for operating the petroleum retail outlet under License No. P/SC/TN/14/2443 (P34451) at Thimiri Town, Arcot Taluk, Ranipet District.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted 2/5
that the petitioner is the license holder of petroleum retail outlet under Indian Oil Corporation Limited and the fourth respondent is the landlord of the property where the petrol bunk is situated. The fourth respondent made representation dated 22.10.2025 before the first respondent seeking cancellation of the No Objection Certificate issued in favour of the petitioner and since the same was not considered filed W.P.No.3633 of 2026 and this Court passed order dated 09.02.2026 directing the first respondent to consider the representation made by the fourth respondent and to pass orders after providing opportunity to the petitioner, pursuant to which, the petitioner submitted a detailed reply dated 16.02.2026, however, there is no response.
Hence, this Court may issue direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's reply dated 16.02.2026 and to pass appropriate orders, within a reasonable time frame. 4.Considering the limited relief now sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's reply dated 16.02.
09.02.2026 made in W.P.No.3633 of 2026 in letter and spirit, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The writ petition is disposed of.
