Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant the petitioner six months study leave from 01.01.2016 to 31.06.2016 to complete the research fellowship at Lund University, Sweden.

PRAYER in W.P.No.17683 of 2017:

Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to permit the petitioner to rejoin duty as Assistant Professor in National Centre for Ultrafast Processes, University of Madras, Sekkizhar Campus, Taramani, Chennai - 600113 and to treat the period w.e.f.12/05/2017 till the date of allowing the petitioner to rejoin duty as compulsory wait/duty period for all purpose and to treat the period from 01.01.2016 to 30.06.2016 as duty period on study leave without any pay and the period from 01.07.2016 till 11.05.2017 as leave to which the petitioner is eligible and grant to her all consequential service and monetary benefits within a stipulated time frame. 2. Recording the submission and the affidavits filed by the petitioner, both the Writ Petitions stand dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
