However, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the State submits that complaint of cheating regarding sale of scrap been received by the police and assigned CSR.No.161 of 2024 dated 27.03.2024.

The petitioner if participate in the enquiry, there cannot be any necessity to take coercive steps. Therefore, the respondent police is directed to cause notice for appearance of the petitioner. After receipt of the notice, the petitioner shall participate in the enquiry. On his participation, the respondent police shall take further action. 4.
With this observation, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
