Prayer :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2008 and 18.03.2014 in the light of the recommendations made by the 3rd and 4th respondents dated 11.12.2008 and 27.06.2009. Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

2.The petitioner seeks for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 08.01.2008 and 18.03.2014 in the light of the recommendations made by the 3rd and 4th respondents dated 11.12.2008 and 27.06.2009.

3. According to the petitioner, request made by the petitioner for grant of patta has been recommended by the 4th respondent by proceedings dated 11.12.2008 and further recommended by the 3rd respondent by proceedings dated 27.06.2009 and the Assistant Director (Land Survey) has also given recommendation on 29.04.2010. With these recommendations, the petitioner once again made representation on 18.03.2014 and till date the same has not been considered, therefore, the petitioner is before this Court. 4.In the light of the above, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and take note of the recommendations and pass a reasoned order on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. With the above observation, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
