[Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J.] The Petitioner / Husband has preferred a Writ of Habeas Corpus Petition praying for passing of an order by this Court in directing the Respondents 1 and 2 to produce his wife, viz., Thara [Detenue], aged about 21 years and set her at liberty.

2. Heard the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the Learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. Today, the 2nd Respondent / Inspector of Police, Chennai - 103 has produced the Detenue, viz., Thara aged 21 years. This Court interacted with the Detenue, viz., Thara, who had stated that her Date of Birth is 19.07.1997 and that she is a Diploma Holder in Electronics and Communication and that she is 3rd daughter for her parents and that her marriage with the Petitioner took place in Church on 28.04.2018. Further, her husband, namely, the Petitioner is aged about 22 years and is a OLA Cab Driver. She has firmly expressed her view that she is desirous of staying with her parents.

4. Hence this Court closes the present Habeas Corpus Petition by directing the Petitioner to work out his remedy against his wife, viz., Thara before the competent forum, of course, in the manner known to Law and in accordance with Law if he is so desirous / advised.
