PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction in the nature of writ, directing the respondent authority to give permission and police protection to conduct Cultural programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Puliyampatti Village Arulmigu Sree Periya Mariamman Temple Festival at Omalur Taluk, Salem District on 04.05.2022 between 6.00pm. to 11.00 pm. by considering petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2022. For Petitioner :Mr.N.Sriramaselvam For Respondent :Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan Additional Public Prosecutor.
O R D E R
The Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to permit the petitioner to conduct cultural programme (Adal Padal Nigalchi) in the event of Arulmigu Sree Periya Mariamman Temple Festival at Puliyampatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District, on 04.05.2022 between 6.00 pm. and 11.00pm., by considering the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2022.
2. When the matter is taken up today, learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the representation of the petitioner has been rejected by the respondent and it is also served on the petitioner.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
