The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board made a submission that the TANGEDCO is the owner of the subject property which is under encroachment and the encroachments were already removed. The impugned order in the writ petition dated 30.06.2016 reveals that in the event of not vacating the premises, the Electricity service connection will be disconnected. However, during the pendency of the writ petition, the encroachments were removed and the persons under encroachments were evicted. Therefore, the encroachers are not entitled to get any relief against the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board, as in the present case, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board is the owner of the subject property.

2. Thus, no relief is to be considered. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
