O R D E R

The petitioner was placed under suspension by an order dated 12.11.2009, since, he was arrested in a corruption case. Now, it is stated that the criminal case is pending in Spl. Case No.17/2010 before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpet. 2.Mr.K.Venkataramani, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the request of the petitioner to revoke the suspension order is on the ground that the criminal case is still pending for a long time and the respondents are not serious in prosecuting the criminal case and they are taking adjournments continuously. The petitioner has produced a extract of "A" diary proceedings.

3.Taking into account the nature of the allegations, I am not inclined to interfere with the order refusing to revoke the suspension. However, I am of the view that the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Chengalpet shall conclude the trial of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

case in Spl.Case No.17/2010 as expeditiously as possible and not later than nine months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.With the above direction, the writ petitoin is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
