ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation, dated 26.04.2021.

2. The petitioner's father died on 18.03.1996 while he was working as a Village Assistant. Immediately the petitioner made a representation before the respondents, requesting compassionate appointment and he was informed that his father became permanent only from 01.06.1996 and only after receiving the order of regularization from the Government, further action can be taken for compassionate appointment. Thereafter vide G.O.Ms.(3D) No.106, Revenue Department, dated 05.10.2017, the Government had granted age relaxation and directed to make compassionate appointment subject to the fulfilment of the eligible criteria. Pursuant to the same, the petitioner was appointed as Office Assistant in 3rd Respondent Office on 15.02.2018.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that due of the delay caused by the respondents, the petitioner was put to heavy monetary loss. He made a representation on 26.04.2021 to the respondents expressing his willingness to go on voluntary retirement if his daughter is given any employment.

However, the same is still pending.

3. Heard Dr.K.Sundararaj, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the Respondents.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.04.2021 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
