W.M.P.No.14668 of 2021 in W.P.No.29861 of 2019 P.N.PRAKASH, J and R.N.MANJULA , J [Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J] Since the petitioner in the main writ petition viz., Mr.K.S.Jagannathan died on 04.10.2020, his widow and two children have filed the present miscellaneous petition to get themselves substituted in his name for prosecuting W.P.No.29861 of 2019.
2. Heard Mr.A.Ilaya Perumal, learned counsel for the petitioners, Mr.M.R.Jothimanian, learned counsel for respondents 1 to 3, Mr.B.Siddeswaran, learned counsel for fourth respondent, Mr.N.Manokaran, learned counsel for fifth respondent and Mr.R.Radha Pandian, learned counsel for the sixth respondent.
3. We are of the opinion that this petition deserves to be allowed for the simple reason that the death of the writ petitioner will not abate the proceedings in the writ petition per se.
4. Accordingly, this petition is allowed.
Registry is directed to make necessary amendment in all the concerned records.
