The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.16412 of 2023 dated 24.07.2023.

krk 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the investigation has been completed and final report has been filed before the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Egmore, in e-filing No.CC-LTN20230001178C202400177 on 29.06.2024.

3.In view of the above, this Contempt Petition is disposed of with a direction to the learned XIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, to act upon the final report filed by the respondent Police in Crime No.142 of 2023, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
