ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the second respondent to give police protection from the third respondent Saravanan who is an accused in Crime No.494 of 2024 dated 23.12.2024 in connection with the criminal case registered pertains to the petitioner land an enable to construct a compound wall in her land in survey nos. 73/6 , 73/7 and 73/2c Edayansanthu village, Vellore district.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the first and second respondents and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the second respondent is directed to conduct enquiry after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the third respondent and pass orders on the complaint lodged by the petitioner seeking police

protection, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition petition is disposed of. No costs.
