ORDER
The criminal original petition has been filed to direct the Respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. 2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there are three CSRs. Initially, complaint was
given by Vaishnavi/ 7th respondent herein, against her husband Venkateshprabhu before the third respondent police stating that her husband was having an affair with the petitioner. Based on her complaint, CSR No.55 of 2026 assigned on 26.01.2026, which is pending. Again one Srinivasan/ 8th respondent, who is the father of Venkateshprabhu, gave a complaint against his son before the 4th respondent police stating that 300 sovereigns of gold and Rs.40 lakhs were given to him to do business but it has not been returned. Based on his complaint, CSR No.34 of 2026 assigned on 02.02.2026, which was closed as his daughter-in-law gave a letter to withdraw the said complaint as the jewels belong to her. Then again, Vaishnavi gave a complaint to the 6th respondent regarding recovery of 300 gold jewels and also stating that her husband was having affair with the petitioner. This was transferred from the 6th respondent to 5th respondent. For this purpose, this petitioner is required for enquiry.
3.In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear for the enquiry before the respondent police concerned and it cannot be termed as harassment. Accordingly, the criminal original petition is dismissed. 08-04-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order sms
