THE HONOURABLE MR.JUSTICE T.RAJA W.P.No.14216 of 2017 S.Sasikala ... Petitioner -Vs1. The District Collector Kancheepuram District Kancheepuram

2. Mr.Ramakrishnan ... Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to include petitioner's name in the selected list for the post of Noon Meal Organiser and appoint her in the said post in the Mauranthagam Village Panchayat Primary School, Maduranthagam, Kancheepuram District in the light of G.O.No.163 dated 18.08.2010 issued by Social Welfare and Noon Meal Scheme Department.

For Petitioner : Mr.I.Arockia Selvaraj For Respondents : Mr.T.M.Pappiah Special Government Pleader for R1

ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to include her name in the selected list for the post of Noon Meal Organizer and appoint her in the said post in Mauranthagam Village Panchayat Primary School, Maduranthagam, Kancheepuram District.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the notification issued by the first respondent inviting applications for the post of Noon Meal Organizer in Mauranthagam Village Panchayat Primary School, she sent her application and finally, at the last minute, the petitioner was permitted to take part. As the petitioner possessed all the requisite qualification as per G.O.No.163 dated 18.8.2010, namely, 10th Standard pass and residing within 3 K.M., from the noon meal centre, she was expecting that the first respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

would include her name to be called for the selection of the candidates. But she was not called for interview, on the ground that she is not having the qualification. Therefore, she gave a representation on 29.5.2017. But no action has been taken. Hence she has come to this Court.

3. First of all, the petitioner has neither filed the notification nor has mentioned whether the selection process has been over or not. If for any reason the selection process was over, the petitioner has to only challenge the selection. Without even furnishing the requisite information together with the supportive documents, the petitioner cannot come to this Court claiming she has got the requisite qualification, as per G.O.No.163 dated 18.8.2010, for consideration and selection to the post of Noon Meal Organizer. Hence this Court is not inclined to entertain the writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed. Consequently, W.M.P.No.15408 of 2017 is also dismissed. No costs.
