ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to investigate the case in Crime No.408 of 2021 dated 26.10.2021 on his file to file a final report before the appropriate Court in accordance with law with a time framed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.408 of 2021 on 26.10.2021, no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the second respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of two months.

4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

5. In view of the above, the second respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
