Crl.O.P.No.8077 of 2023 and Crl.M.P.Nos.5536 & 5537 of 2023 Crl.O.P.No.8077 of 2023 and Crl.M.P.Nos.5536 & 5537 of 2023 V.LAKSHMINARAYANAN, J.

This is an unfortunate case, wherein, after the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) had taken time before this Court on 13.04.2023, 04.05.2023 & 25.05.2023, the accused seems to have been apprehended by the respondent police.

2. I am given to understand that when the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) seeks time for getting instructions, the police keeps their hands off and do no present a fate to complete the case. It is very unfortunate that after seeking time, taking advantage of the benevolence granted by this Court, the police have proceeded and apprehended the accused. I am only recording my anguish which has transpired in this case.

3. As the petitioner had apprehended, I have no other way except recording the aforesaid development. In view of the above, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
