Petitioners seek quash of proceedings in CC.1821/2008 on the file of VII Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai. 2.The complaint allegations if true make out a case of liability in respect of which a cheque has been issued and in respect where of a complaint has been filed after following the proceedings u/s. 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, defence if any of the petitioner is a matter for trial. This Criminal Original petition shall stand dismissed. Considering the case is of the year 2008, the Court below is directed to dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
