PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition is filed under section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying for a direction directing the 1st & 2nd respondents to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No. 998/2011 and C.S.R. No. 120/2014 on the file of the 4th Respondent to some other independent investigating agency either to the CBCID or the CBI based upon the petitioner's representation dated 25.04.2016 to the 1st respondent herein and investigate the same and to file Final Report within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

The prayer sought for in the present petition is to transfer the investigation in Crime No. 998/2011 and C.S.R. No. 120/2014 on the file of the 4th Respondent herein to some other independent investigating agency.

2. Today, when the matter taken up for consideration, Mr.P.Govindarajan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the said Crime No. 998 of 2011 has been closed as mistake of fact on *31.01.2013 itself.

3. In view of the same, the prayer sought for in the present petition has become infructuous and hence closed. s/d- Assistant Registrar(CS-V) Dated: 19.07.2017 * Corrected as per order dated 17.09.2018 and made in Crl.O.P. 15368/2016.
