According to the revision petitioner, the respondent herein has filed an appeal in RCA.No.176 of 2016 on the file of the learned VIII Appellate Tribunal Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai, which is pending. Hence, the revision petitioners have filed the present Civil Revision Petition for early disposal of the said appeal.
2. The learned counsel for the revision petitioners would submit that there is no interlocutory application is pending in the above appeal and hence there is no legal impediment to dispose of the suit within the time as may be fixed by this Court.
3. Considering that the first revision petitioner is a senior citizen and in view of the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the learned VIII Appellate Tribunal Judge, Small Causes Court, Chennai to dispose of the RCA.No.176 of 2016 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible preferably on or before 31.07.2018.
4. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with above direction. No costs.
