Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent to register a case on the strength of petitioner complaint dated 25.06.2016 lodged before the 1st respondent, presently pending enquiry on the file of the 2nd respondent.

ORDER
The prayer in this petition is to register the complaint given by the petitioner herein on 25.06.2016 to the first respondent herein.
After impleading the Secretary, Sports-cum-Director General, Sports Authority of India and ordering notice to the other respondents, it is now brought to the notice of this Court by the third respondent that they have been informed by the Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi, Special Crime-2 vide their letter dated 26.02.2018 that CBI had conducted a preliminary enquiry relating to irregularities in use of funds by the office bearers of Volleyball Federation of India, and a case in PE.No.5(S)/2017/SCU.V/SC-II/CBI/New Delhi has been registered. Documents relating to the enquiry has been sought for from the third respondent. It is also represented by the third respondent, as per the request of CBI, the documents sought for the enquiry by CBI have already been submitted to CBI.
The learned counsel for CBI concedes the submission. In the light of the above facts, nothing survives in this petition. However, it is made clear that the first respondent shall expedite the enquiry and complete the same within reasonable time without much delay and dispose of the complaint as expeditiously as possible.
In the result, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
