ORDER

The petitioners have come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to disburse the entire deposited amount and other amounts, if any, standing in the account of late K.M.Radhakrishnan, under Account No.F.D.No.1227 in the Respondent bank, to them, by considering their representation dated 23.04.2018.

2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioners, the petitioners' brother, who has no legal heirs, deposited a considerable amount in the respondent's bank and after his death, the petitioners, sought disbursement by representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dated 23.04.2018, enclosing all the required documents including succession certificate etc., but, the same is yet to be disposed of by the respondent. Hence, the petitioners are before this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. Despite the name printed in the cause list, no representation for the respondent.

4.Considering the nature of the petitioner's claim and the limited scope of this petition, this Court directs the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioners on the basis of their representation dated 23.04.2018 along with the documents produced and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
