O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam to dispote the trial in C.C.No.96 of 2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials on record.

3. It is seen that a private complaint was filed in C.C.No.96 of 2016 as against the respondent before the Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam for the offence under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act and the case is pending for trial.

4. Considering the fact that the Calendar Case is of the year 2016 this Court deems it fit to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Mettupalayam to complete the trial proceedings in C.C.No.96 of 2016, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
