Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS, directing the first and second respondents to grant permission to conduct the cultural programme of Adal Padal on 13.05.2022 at 06.00 P.M. to 11.00 P.M. at "Sri Mariamman & Sri Kaliamman Temple festival" Gandhi Nagar, Reddiyur Post, Tiruppattur Taluk, Tiruppattur District by consider and pass orders on the representation dated 24.04.2022 made by the petitioner within the time frame. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking to issue direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.04.2022.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents submitted that the respondents have considered the representation of the petitioner and rejected the request made by the petitioner. He further submits that a copy of the said rejection order has been communicated to the petitioner and necessary endorsement has been obtained in this regard.

3. Since, the prayer sought for in this writ petition is to consider the representation of the petitioner, which representation has already been considered and rejected by the respondents, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition.

4. In view of the above, the writ petition stands dismissed as the relief sought for has become infructuous. No costs.
