This writ petition was filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the Municipality to consider the representation made by the petitioner and to proceed further with the tender notification issued on 23.12.2022 and to announce the successful bidder.

When the matter came up for hearing on 26.04.2023, this Court passed the following order - Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing Counsel, takes notice on behalf of respondents Corporation.
2. Learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of respondents Corporation, based on oral instructions, submitted that the Corporation was not able to proceed further with the issuance of work order due to lack of
funds. Learned counsel further submitted that the tender auction dated 20.01.2023 is going to be given up and after the funds are arranged, a fresh tender auction is going to be called for by the Corporation and thereafter, the work order will be issued to the successful bidder. Post this case under the caption "for orders" on 12.06.2023. 3.
When the matter was taken up for hearing today, Mr.P.Srinivas, learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of Corporation submitted that the subject tender has been given up and steps are being taken to float a tender for bio-mining solid waste and for this purpose, the Corporation has sought for funds from the Government.
