O R D E R

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking for a direction to the third respondent to show cause on what authority he holds the post of 'Registrar' of The Annamalai University, Annamalai Nagar, Cuddalore District.

2. Earlier the matter was heard and reserved for orders. While so, the learned counsel for the petitioner mentioned before this Court that the third respondent Dr.K.Arumugam was relieved from the post on the Afternoon of 12.12.2018 and Dr.M.Ravichandran has been placed as Additional charge in the place of Registrar. He has also produced the proceedings of Vice-Chancellor, Annamalai University dated 12.12.2018 to that effect.

3. In view of the subsequent development, no further orders are necessary in this Writ Petition, as the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

4. Hence this Writ Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
