ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) Mr.R.Muniyapparaj, learned Additional Public Prosecutor assisted by Mr.M.Sylvester John, learned counsel accepts notice for the respondents and has received instructions in full. Hence, by consent of both learned counsel, this Writ Petition is disposed finally even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner's prayer is for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 12.03.2026 for grant of 30 days emergency leave without escort to his son, Praveenraj, S/o. Dharmaraj, Aged about 33 years, convict prisoner, presently confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai.

3. Mr.Muniyapparaj states that the authorities have sought a copy of the medical record and other particulars in support of the representation seeking leave.

4. In such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to produce necessary evidence as sought for by the authorities within three (3) days from today. If the particulars are produced within the stipulated time, the authorities are

directed to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2026 within two (2) weeks from date of receipt of such particulars.

5. As this direction would suffice to address the plea of the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed.
