ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] Seeking a direction to respondents 1 and 2 to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband Dineshbabu, who is aged about 26 years, who is under the illegal custody of the third respondent before this Court and set him at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2. The petitioner claims to be the wife of the detenu. It is informed at the bar through video conference, the detenu has informed that he is neither in the illegal custody nor he knows the petitioner.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner and the detenu were in relationship as indicated in the call details.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the matter may be referred to the Mediation Centre.

5. As we do not find any illegal detention involved, the habeas corpus petition stands closed. However, in order to resolve the dispute between the petitioner and the detenu, the matter has been referred to the District Mediation Centre at Karaikkal. The parties, namely, the petitioner and the detenu are directed to appear before the Mediation Centre at Karaikkal on 16.10.2020.
