O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents police not to harass the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that there is a money dispute between the petitioner and the counter party. Therefore, it is civil in nature. The second respondent police has no role to play in this matter.

4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under the guise of enquiry. If at all any cognizable offence is meted out as against the petitioner on the complaint lodged by the third respondent, the second respondent is at liberty to enquire the matter in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
