[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J] Petitioner, who is the mother of the life convict viz., Azhagar @ Valarntha Azhagar S/o.Dharmaraj, C.T.No.6921, has filed this petition seeking a direction to respondents to retain her son permanently at Central Prison-I, Puzhal, Chennai.

2. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that since the life convict was suffering from heart ailments, he was transferred from Central Prison, Cuddalore to Central Prison I, Puzhal, Chennai, on 15.02.2015 for medical treatment. After giving necessary treatment, the life convict was again transferred to Central Prison, Cuddalore on 07.12.2019.

In view of the submission made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor nothing survives for further adjudication in the present petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
