Respondents Writ Petition has been filed, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation, dated 07.05.2015, served on 16.6.2015.

By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is the absolute owner and in possession of the lands in S.F.No.156/3A2 and S.F.No.155/3 measuring 1.09 acres and 0.34 cents respectively, situated at Agrahara Samakalam Village, Annur Taluk, Coimbatore District, having purchased the same vide Sale Deeds, dated 05.02.2015 and 17.03.2015 respectively, and registered as Document No.2750/2015 and 3537/2015 in the Office of the Sub-Registrar, Periyanaickenpalayam, from one R.Jeyaprakash for valid sale consideration.

The petitioner would further state that on 07.05.2015, he submitted a representation to the first respondent, praying for inclusion of his name in the Patta bearing No.326, which was acknowledged by the respondent on 16.06.2015, and since no orders have been passed thereon, he has come forward to file this Writ Petition.

4. Heard the submissions of Mr.R.A.S.Senthilvel, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the first respondent.

This Court, taking into consideratiion the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 07.05.2015, which was served on 16.06.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the second respondent, and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the parties.
