..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to regularize the petitioner appointed under 10(a)(i) and have cleared special qualifying Examination 2022 with effect from date of joining Service on par with other Medical Officers appointed through TNPSC / MRB / MRB Walk - in Selection (2009, 2016, 2017 and 2018) by implementing the G.O.Ms.No.571 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 24.12.2020 and to restore the petitioners seniority by passing orders on the representation dated 24.07.2023. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation, dated 24.07.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioners have made a representation, dated 24.07.2023 before the respondents seeking regularization who have appointed under 10(a)(i) and have cleared SQE conducted by MRB with effect from date of joining in service on par with other medical officers appointed through TNPSC/MRB/MRB walk-in-
selection (2009, 2016, 2017 and 2018) by implementing the G.O.Ms.No.571 Health and Family Welfare Department dated 24.12.2020. Since the same has not been considered till date, the petitioners have filed this writ petition.
3. Though many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioners' representation dated 24.07.2023, as expeditiously as possible.
4. Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioners dated 24.07.2023 will be considered and appropriate order will be passed within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Accordingly, the respondents are directed to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioners' representation, dated 24.07.2023, within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' common representation.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
