This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to submit a final report with reference to the complaint dated 24.10.2016 registered in FIR No.777/2016 under Sections 405, 408 and 409 IPC.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

However, this petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in FIR No.777/2016 as expeditiously as possible and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
