By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner would submit that his father, namely, Krishnamurthy died on 23.08.2014 intestate and, therefore, he applied for legal heir certificate to the respondent vide representation, dated 24.06.2015. He would further submit that, on instructions, the jurisdictional Village Administrative Officer also conducted an inquiry and, thereafter, no further action has been taken. Hence, he has come forward to file this Writ Petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for in the writ petition, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
representation, dated 24.06.2015, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned, and pass orders within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
