COMMON PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, to dispose the Crl.M.P.No.258 of 2019, Crl.M.P.No.257 of 2019 and Crl.M.P.No.259 of 2019 in STC.No.2581 of 2018, STC.No.1 of 2018 and STC.No.2707 of 2018 within three months.

For Petitioners : Mr.R.Arunkumar in all Crl.OPs For Respondents : Mr.C.Raghavan in all Crl.OPs Government Advocate (Crl.Side) C O M M O N O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, to expedite the trials in Crl.M.P.No.258 of 2019, Crl.M.P.No.257 of 2019 and Crl.M.P.No.259 of 2019 in STC.No.2581 of 2018, STC.No.1 of 2018 and STC.No.2707 of 2018 respectively.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the materials on record.

3. It is seen that private complaints have been filed in Crl.M.P.No.258 of 2019, Crl.M.P.No.257 of 2019 and Crl.M.P.No.259 of 2019 in STC.No.2581 of 2018, STC.No.1 of 2018 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and STC.No.2707 of 2018 as against the petitioners before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, for the offence under section 138 of Negotiable Instrument Act and the case is pending for trial.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court deems it fit to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thiruvottiyur, to complete the trial proceedings in Crl.M.P.No.258 of 2019, Crl.M.P.No.257 of 2019 and Crl.M.P.No.259 of 2019 in STC.No.2581 of 2018, STC.No.1 of 2018 and STC.No.2707 of 2018, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, these Criminal Original Petitions are disposed of.
