The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to give electricity connection to the petitioner house situated at D.No.9-70A, Surapuliyan, Kattuvalavu, Mukkanur, Kadayampatty Taluk, Salem District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for TNEB submitted that during the pendency of this petition, electricity service connection was effected in favour of the petitioner and hence nothing survives for further adjudication in this case.

3. In view of the above, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
