Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to follow state level seniority for the promotion from Special Sub-Inspectors to Sub-Inspectors also follow state level seniority as like other rank officials in the Police Department and to depromote the juniors who have been promoted as Sub-Inspectors in any where in Tamil Nadu.

ORDER
Ms.Ranjani, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner wants to challenge the appropriate Rule itself and therefore, seeks leave to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file afresh with appropriate relief.
2. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. There shall be no order as to costs.
