This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to modify the conditions imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Cuddalore in Crl.M.P.No.2283 of 2022 dated 30.03.2022 for granting interim custody of the vehicle in question.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the only grievance of the petitioner is that the first condition imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate is impractical and it is difficult to produce the sureties worth about Rs.8 lakhs. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to execute the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

bond for a sum of Rs.8 lakhs as directed by the learned Magistrate but, as far as the production of sureties is concerned, some modification is required.

3. In view of the above, the condition imposed by the learned Judicial Magistrate is modified. The petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.8 lakhs (Rupees Eight Lakhs Only) along with two sureties for a sum of Rs.50,000/- (Rupees Fifty Thousand Only) each, to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Cuddalore.

4. With the above modification, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed.
