O R D E R
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to release the petitioner all retirement benefits and pension based on the representation of the petitioner dated 12.03.2024.
2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner worked as Vocational Teacher in the fifth respondent School and the petitioner was relieved from service by the fifth respondent on 29.02.2024, however, the respondents did not allow the petitioner's retirement and did not settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner on the ground that 16 pages are missing from his service register. The petitioner made representation to the 2/5
respondents seeking to trace out the missing pages of his service book, however, there was no response and hence the petitioner filed W.P.No.16728 of 2024 before this Court and the same is pending. The petitioner made representation to the respondents seeking to settle his retirement benefits, however, there is no response and hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. The learned counsel further submitted that mere pendancy of W.P.No.16728 of 2024 before this Court will not deprive the petitioner from receiving his retirement benefits. Hence, this Court may issue direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to secure all the relevant papers from the fifth respondent School, if not already secured and to settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner, within a reasonable time frame.
3.Heard both side and perused the materials available on record.
4.Mere pendancy of the writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to trace out the missing pages of the service book of the petitioner based on his representation will not deprive the petitioner from receiving his retirement benefits.

5.In view of the above, this Court directs the fifth respondent School to coordinate with the respondents 1 to 4 and settle the retirement benefits to the petitioner, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
