..Plaintiff, 2nd and 6th Defendants/Appellant, 2nd and 6th Respondents/Respondents On representation of counsel for both sides, this case is taken up for settlement before the Lok Adalat. Both the parties are present. Mr.R.Ram Kumar, for Mr.T.M.Hariharan the learned counsel for the Appellants and Mr.D.Keerthirajan, for Mr.N.Manokaran, the learned counsel for the respondents 1 & 2 and Mr.S.Gopinathan, learned counsel for the 3rd respondent are present. After mutual discussion, negotiation, mediation and conciliation between both parties, they arrived at a compromise to settle the matter as follows:
TERMS OF SETTLEMENT Bhanumathi/ 2nd appellant and Shanthi/3rd appellant are present before this Court along with their respective counsel. Sarojini @ Seerayammal/1st appellant appeared through Whats app call. 2.Subasuriya/1st respondent and Sudha/2nd respondent along with their counsel are present before this Court.
3.Both parties have agreed to settle the issue and they also filed a Joint Memo of Compromise dated 12.09.2025 which runs to 18 pages and signed by all the parties in each and every page under Order XXIII Rule 3 CPC, and the same is recorded.
4.In the light of the above Joint Memo of Compromise, the Second Appeal Shall stands disposed of in terms of Joint Memo of Compromise so far as the suit claim is concerned and parties to it. The Joint Memo of Compromise shall form part of the Award. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed, if any.
5. The full Court fee paid shall be refunded to the appellant in the manner provided under Section 69-A of the Tamil Nadu Court-Fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955 and the Court Fees Act, 1870 as provided for under sub Sec.1 of Section 21 r/w 25 of LSA Act 1987 as amended in 1994.
