Respondents Prayer: Original Application No.1580 of 2003 filed before the Tamil Nadu Administrative Tribunal, on abolition, transferred to the file of this Court and renumbered as Writ Petition No.9497 of 2007, seeking for a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to G.O.Ms.No.58, Labour & Employment Department, dated 04.05.1999 of the first respondent, quash the same to the limited extent of date of effect of regularisation of the services of the applicant and issue consequential directions to the respondents herein to give effect to the regularisation of services of the petitioner with effect from the date of her initial appointment as Junior Assistant i.e., 12.03.1984 or in the alternative from 22.09.1984, the date of G.O.Ms.No.996, P. & A.R. Department, dated 22.09.1984 and to grant consequential service and monetary benefits. For Petitioner :

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner challenging the order of the first respondent relating to G.O.Ms.No.58, Labour & Employment Department, dated 04.05.1999 and to quash the same to the limited extent of date of effect of regularisation of her services. She further sought for a direction to the respondents herein to give effect to the regularisation of her services with effect from the date of her initial appointment as Junior Assistant i.e., 12.03.1984 or in the alternative from 22.09.1984, the date of G.O.Ms.No.996, P. & A.R. Department, dated 22.09.1984 and to grant consequential service and monetary benefits.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it is a covered matter and the relief sought for by the petitioner has been implemented in respect of one V.Govindarajulu as per the order of this Court dated 25.03.2014 in W.P.Nos.12477 and 12478 of 2007 (O.A.Nos.4398 of 2002 and 1699 of 2003) and pleaded for a similar order.

4.Since the issue involved in this case is of similar in nature and also in the light of the order passed by this Court as stated supra, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to regularise the services of the petitioner with effect from 25.06.1984 with all consequential benefits.
