Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to maintain the lands in S.Nos.143 and 187, at Puzhuthivakkam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District without damaging the nature of the lands by dumping dry ash in the said lands and further direct the respondents 4 to 6 to allow the lands in S.Nos.143 and 187, at Puzhuthivakkam Village, Ponneri Taluk, Thiruvallur District to be used as birds sanctuary.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) This writ petition has been filed after the environmental clearance has been obtained by the contesting respondent on 11.12.2019. In fact, challenge has also been laid to the said clearance before the National Green Tribunal in Appeal No.11 of 2020.

2.In such view of the matter, the writ petition stands closed giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge it before the National Green Tribunal, if so advised. No costs.
