Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to prepare the panel of Gang Mazdoors ( Salai Paniyalar) with service experience of 5 years and educational qualification of S.S.L.C based on the date of entry into the Feeder category and thereby promote the petitioner as Road Inspector Grade-II.

ORDER

The petitioners herein, apprehending their names may not be included in the proposed panel for promotion as Road Inspector Grade II, have filed these writ petitions seeking direction of this Court to consider the name of the petitioners in the proposed panel.

It is admittedly even the draft promotion panel not yet released. Anticipating omission of their names, the present writ petitions are filed prematurely without any basis. If the draft panel for promotion list is not in favour of the petitioners herein, the petitioners will have opportunity to make their representation to include their names and if for some wrong reason their names are not included, the petitioners can approach this Court.

Hence, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petitioners have rushed to Court prematurely before release of the draft panel list. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
